What Stremio syncs (and why it matters)
When you sign into Stremio on multiple devices, it can keep your experience consistent:
- Installed addons (in many cases)
- Library / watchlist
- Watch progress (where supported)
What might not sync perfectly
Some items are device-specific:
- Player output settings (audio passthrough, subtitles styling)
- Casting device pairing
- OS-level permissions and storage limits
Step-by-step: get sync working
- Confirm you are signed into the same account on every device
- On each device, restart Stremio after installing or removing addons
- If one device lags behind, sign out → sign in again
- If a specific addon isn’t appearing, reinstall it and refresh catalogs
Best practice
Pick a “primary” device to manage addons (desktop is easiest), then let other devices sync.
